Best guide ever!! Ernesto is one of the greatest guides I ever had! Lot of information during all the tour, always with a smile in the face and offering to take pictures! Gave us enought time to do everything, stopping in all the points we asked and pointed animals during all the way! 100% honest, knows everything about cotopaxi and loves climbing mountains and volcanos! Excellent restaurant for breakfast with good prices. Gave us a gift at the end of the tour, totally recommend him!!

COTOPAXI CON DANIELA Que experiencia más Asombrosa. El Parque Nacional COTOPAXI. Con guía (Daniela) fue mágica. Espiritual.

A Great Experience We toured Mindo, the equator and Cotapaxi with this organization. They were to flight. Always on time. Always prepared. Very considerate (they even brought my son’s hat back and left it at the front desk). I highly recommend them!

Great day with amazing views It was a fantastic day with excellent views, we were lucky to have sunny weather which isn't always the case - prepare for anything! Adrian was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable and enthusiastic and a great help on the hike itself. I've done lots of hiking before but this was the first one at altitude, you definitely notice the difference! The best advice is to take your time with the hike, great advice that Adrian provided. I'd definitely recommend this tour if you have free time in Quito.

Beautiful day Enjoyable day. Tour guide arrived in time to pick us up and made sure we had everything we needed during the day. The walk into the crater was beautiful but if you're older, you'll need to take your time and watch your footing. Hiking sticks helped. Unless you are in peak condition, be sure to reserve a horse for the ride up. Even the 20 something's were breathing hard and resting a lot. I would definitely recommend this tour. Great company and very organized.

What you will do

  • Laguna Grande (Great Lagoon)
Made up of a system of lagoons interconnected with each other, it has a very high number of animal species (mainly birds), including the harpy eagle: a symbol of the birdlife of the area.
  • Primary Forest
It is a native forest of high biodiversity, whose evolution depends on natural disturbances. These forests are intact and have a high degree of naturalness that has never been exploited, nor directly or indirectly affected by human activity.
  • Alligators Nocturnal Search
Exciting and unforgettable night exploration given that alligators tend to be more active at night. We will travel the rivers and lagoons with lanterns to try to look for them.
  • Tarapuy Community
Meet the people of the original communities of the area and learn about their settlements, history, customs and daily life. We can, also, learn how to prepare Casabe, traditional cassava bread, using the materials of the jungle to make bread.
